The work of St. Julie Mission is made possible by the prayers and generosity of many donors from throughout the United States and Germany. The German province of the Sisters of Notre Dame provides financial support. Other donations are provided by friends and benefactors of German sisters on mission and supporters of lay volunteers from Germany.
School children in the United States donate their allowances, sell baked goods and organize playful "Uganda Week" celebrations to raise sponsorship money. High school students join their sisters at Notre Dame Academy Secondary School in shared prayer retreats across the miles and organize activities to raise money for precious materials and textbooks that are hard to obtain in Uganda. Many families choose to sponsor a student or make regular contributions to the mission. Some people arrange matching gifts through their employers or make planned gifts as part of their estate planning.
All of our donors are remembered gratefully in daily prayer by the Sisters of Notre Dame, their Associates, and the children of St. Julie Mission.
